Georgia is typically engulfed in softball fever around late October because of the push to the state championships in Columbus. This October, there was another reason for the softball diamond to capture the attention of many Peach State softball aficionados. That was because Georgia was the state that played host to the first-ever Prep Softball All-Star Showcase.

DeLoach also knows that playing at first base means utilizing her length to prevent potential wild throws from sailing past her.
Kaydance Jansen was a late addition to the field of prospects on hand on All-Star Showcase Saturday and made the most of her time at the Browns Mill Rec Center. She displayed great throwing accuracy and plenty of speed, which will enable her to steal many bases. Jansen has the tools to thrive, especially in the middle infield, where she will be in many scenarios that call for double plays. She places plenty of emphasis on throwing accuracy. Jansen was part of a Harris County Carver MS team that concluded its 2026 season with a solid 15-2-1 record. Harris County was well-represented this past weekend at the All-Star Showcase.

The Impact Caymol Lawson 16U product primarily plays defensively on the left side of the infield, but has the height at 5-foot-9 that could translate well to first base. Parks will also find work in the circle as a right-handed pitcher. Displaying hustle is another strong point of Parks' game. She concluded a 2026 season with the Rams, where she was one of the team's leaders in several statistical categories.
