Riley Worthy, a Georgia Impact 2030 product, is a utility player at 6A McEachern who is a multi-sport athlete who also plays basketball and flag football. She has a quick release on her throw, which will give her team’s defense the benefit of many close calls. Speed is clearly an emphasis of Worthy’s game, both on the field and when running the bases. Her sound defensive capabilities also include combining her quick release with her glove backhand. Worthy works hard to be the consummate “five-tool” player. Before bringing her softball talents to Georgia Impact 2030, she wore an Atlanta Premier uniform.
