In her first season for Skutt Catholic, she is blasting the ball to the tune of a .643 batting average with 24 runs scored, 18 hits, 11 RBIs, and six doubles as of this writing. All of this damage has been done in only 13 games through her remarkable .773 on-base percentage. She is calm and focused in the batter's box. Her swing is always under control, but she can and does generate plenty of power. She also has a great eye and has drawn an incredible 14 walks. Defensively, she is reliable and has 11 putouts and one assist already this season.

Bre Lazzara has made an immediate impact in her short time with the Titans of Legend High School. In her first two games, she went 3-for-5 at the plate and has had three multi-hit games in 11 contests. She currently ranks third on the team in batting average (.462) and is tied for third in triples (2). She has proven to be invaluable for an offense that has put up double digits in the run column nine times already this season. Lazzara has quick hands and can turn on a pitch left up in the zone. She also has good speed and is a threat to steal bases.

Two years removed from winning a state title, the Harris County Tigers are once again red-hot halfway through the season. Their pitching is simply dominant, led by senior Chloe Wolfenbarger, and they currently hold a 0.96 team ERA as of this writing. However, their offense is just as potent, and freshman Hayden Smith is right in the middle of it. She has a .433 batting average to go along with 13 hits and two doubles in only 37 plate appearances. She has good bat control and uses the entire field. Defensively, she has been stellar in the outfield, with a 1.000 fielding percentage and 12 putouts. If that's not enough, she also has two wins in the circle, a minuscule 0.78 ERA, and 11 strikeouts over nine innings pitched.

Home runs are always fun, but they're even better when you hit them against your rival. In a tight matchup against Mill Creek, Olivia Larmond blasted a home run to left field to give her Dacula Falcons the lead for good. The shot was the first of her high school career, and one of the many highlights so far in her freshman season. She sports a .407 batting average, along with 22 hits, 20 runs scored, 18 RBIs, eight stolen bases, and three doubles. She is also a terrific center fielder with impressive range and athleticism. She is ready for big moments and plays a valuable role for the Falcons.

The Adairsville Tigers are on track to make the postseason, and Lily Brookshire's bat is helping them get there. The talented freshman is currently batting .348 for the season and has racked up 25 runs scored, 23 hits, and 21 RBIs over 21 games played as of this writing. She is tied for first on the team in home runs with three, and also has four doubles and two triples. When she gets her arms extended, the ball can travel a long way. Defensively, her role has been just as vital. Holding her own in the infield and outfield, she has a whopping 22 assists already, along with three double plays turned and 32 putouts. She is a confident and determined young athlete.
