2029 Players Whose Tools Could Shine This Fall

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With the class of 2029 inching closer to opening their college recruitment, now is the time for rising stars in the class to step into leadership roles on both their school and club teams. Through her first 19 games of the season, Butler posted a .582 batting average with 12 extra-base hits and 24 runs batted in. She also stole 14 bases in those games to start off an important campaign for the Lee County player. Butler's skills shine behind the plate as well, with her impressive overhand velocity making her a versatile member of any infield. In her first two weeks of the campaign, Peek hit .625 with a 2.184 OPS, hitting four home runs and driving in 10 of her teammates. The strong start comes off a club season where she hit 14 home runs with a .424 batting average against the best 14U competition her Texas Bombers team could find. During her season with Hustle Nation, Woitalewicz hit seven home runs and drove in 32 runs while competing in top tournaments such as the Top Gun Invitational and the PGF National Championships. Woitalewicz attended camp at Alabama and Auburn while also working with USA Softball coaches at the HPP Top Performers Camp. After her school season, Hurt will return to the club softball circuit with a strong Athletics Gold team before playing basketball in the winter. Now in school ball mode with Washington, Blackburn is off to a hot start with a no-hitter already on the books. She also earned her 200th-career strikeout in a recent game for the Warriors. Blackburn also recently attended camp at Tulsa, gaining even more exposure to the college softball ecosystem.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
