2029 Prospects Who Are Trending Up This Spring

During her freshman school season with Cullman, Johnson hit an impressive .507 across 52 games, striking out just four times with six home runs and 19 walks. She drove in 52 runners at the plate during a year in which her team won 39 games, making a 30-win improvement over the prior year. Smith finished her regular season with a team-high .435 average, scoring 35 runs over the course of the season and stealing 17 bases. She also maintained a perfect fielding percentage during the regular season. During the postseason, Smith's performance stepped up even more. She hit .455 in the first round and .600 in the second round to help Brock become area champions. Through the first 18 high school games of her freshman campaign, Kowalczyk hit .455 with four home runs and 16 runs driven in. She has scored at least one run in all but two games, and has stolen 12 bases during the regular season. Through her first 14 high school appearances, Bary hit .316, driving in four runs. For her club team, she hit .500 with three RBI in her April tournament, while also striking out 19 in the circle en route to three wins and a save. Through her first 19 appearances for Westfield, Schrock has already hit five home runs and driven in 11 runs. In a game against Brownsburg in April, Schrock homered twice and drove in a season-high three runs. Schrock was in the USA Softball High Performance Program in December, and attended camps at Indiana and Kentucky in January.
