Riley Duplessis has a great eye at the plate and is an extremely difficult out, making her an excellent leadoff candidate for her Indiana Magic Gold team. Riley’s athleticism in the field translates offensively when she’s making opposing pitchers work, is absolutely relentless in a full-count situation with an expansive zone, and is a great leader, doing whatever she can to move her teammates into scoring position. While her IMG team may be young, they’re elite, hungry for success, and there’s no doubt Duplessis will be setting the tempo on the field this fall.

Riley DuPlessis has been hammering the ball all summer, especially in the month of June. At the Laser Nation tournament, she had a .550 batting average for the weekend with 11 RBIs, including nine singles and two doubles, along with two stolen bases and nine putouts defensively. Later in the month at the PGF Super Select Championships, she collected six hits and three RBIs, hit .375 for the tournament, stole four bases, and was perfect in the field with 17 putouts and two double plays turned. More importantly, she played an integral role in helping her team, Indiana Magic Gold 2032, capture the PGF Super Select East Coast Championship title. As the competition stiffens, her performance rises to the occasion. She is fundamentally sound, an impressive hitter, and a solid fielder.
