Summer tournaments offer the chance to not only face off against elite competition, but also to make your name heard. The players on this list have been on the big stage, and are putting college coaches across the country on notice.

Below, Prep Softball highlights prospects from the high school graduating class of 2032 who are making big tournament statements.

It's been a hot summer so far throughout the country, but Josie Dunaway's bat has been even hotter. The Volunteer State native has a batting average of .600 while playing for the GA Bombers, and has already blasted six home runs with 30 RBIs. She has an eye-popping 1.120 slugging percentage and an on-base percentage of .672. Defensively, she has been just as impressive, with a pop time of 2.03 behind the plate, solid mechanics, a strong arm, and accurate throws. Earlier this summer, she came through in the clutch for her team with a grand slam on a full count. In that game alone, she had five RBIs and a double along with her round-tripper. Only one week prior to that memorable game, she earned MVP honors for another outstanding offensive performance, which included a moonshot to center field. The pitch was up in the zone, and with her quick hands, she was able to get on top of it. She is an accomplished hitter and a capable defender with a bright future ahead.

In the big state of Texas, Dylynn Benson is making a name for herself this summer. The speedy, ambidextrous hitter is a natural slapper, and can leg out infield hits with the very best of them. She's confident in her abilities, and is bound to be a headache for pitchers everywhere. Off the field, she puts in the work in the batting cage, and assists her community by participating in volunteer work. As a switch-hitter, she offers depth to any lineup, and her ability to make contact is a real plus in clutch situations. In addition to infield hits, with her adept bat control she can find open holes in the infield and can turn singles into doubles. Defensively, she covers plenty of ground in the outfield, and her strong arm makes her a legitimate threat to throw out anyone trying to take an extra base. Benson thrives on doing the fundamentals well, which is a skill any team would gladly take.

Riseballs are notoriously hard to hit, especially when you end up swinging at pitches over your head. However, for Gracen Butler and her bat speed, anything is possible. During a tournament in May, Butler turned on a rise well above the strike zone at eye level and smoked it into center field for a bases-clearing triple. In that same tournament, she poked a high and away pitch the opposite way for a single, went the other way again with a pitch off the plate for another single, and laid down a perfect bunt down the third base line for an infield hit. Overall, she had a .647 batting average for the weekend and a .684 on-base percentage. She may have just started middle school, but she has all the tools needed to be a successful hitter. Defensively, she is fundamentally sound, and provides a reliable glove in the infield.

In addition to the riseball, it's also difficult to hit a drop ball, especially if it starts at your knees and ends at your shoelaces. Fiona Ellis has a wide arsenal of pitches to choose from, from her fastball to her curve and changeup. However, what makes her drop stand out is its late movement. The ball is almost in the catcher's mitt by the time it takes a plunge, making it exceedingly hard to read. In addition, her changeup hits all four quadrants of the zone and her curve can come inside to batters and saw them off. However, she puts just as much work into her hitting as well, so much so that she's already broken quite a few bats this year. She is a supportive teammate and an all-around impressive athlete.

Riley DuPlessis has been hammering the ball all summer, especially in the month of June. At the Laser Nation tournament, she had a .550 batting average for the weekend with 11 RBIs, including nine singles and two doubles, along with two stolen bases and nine putouts defensively. Later in the month at the PGF Super Select Championships, she collected six hits and three RBIs, hit .375 for the tournament, stole four bases, and was perfect in the field with 17 putouts and two double plays turned. More importantly, she played an integral role in helping her team, Indiana Magic Gold 2032, capture the PGF Super Select East Coast Championship title. As the competition stiffens, her performance rises to the occasion. She is fundamentally sound, an impressive hitter, and a solid fielder.
