During her fall campaign with Stars National Noerr, Cherry hit .497 and went a perfect 37-for-37 in stolen-base attempts, driving in 27 runs. She faced pressure during the spring season with her team down by five runs in the final game of the USSSA Shamrock Smash, and drove in the first run to start the rally for her squad, scoring later in the inning to help her team to a 6-5 comeback and the tournament championship. The speedy outfielder reached base in all 13 of her plate appearances across the five-game event. Cherry’s poise in big moments will pay off as she continues her softball career.
