At the CFPA Showcase in Georgia, Clayton delivered one of her most complete offensive performances of the fall, hitting .454 with eight RBIs and helping to lead her team to a 4-1 finish. The weekend before, she kept that momentum rolling, hitting .400 and launching her first home run of the fall season. McCall Clayton was also part of the Birmingham Thunderbolts team that won the Clearwater Fall Classic. In the championship game, she turned a double play at third base in the top of the sixth to end the inning, setting the stage for Leidecker to hit the walk-off double. At the CFPA Showcases over the first weekend in February, Clayton helped her team to a 4-1 performance with a .454 average and eight RBIs. Clayton visited Florida for camp in June and attended Auburn’s camp in September. She attends Opelika High School in Alabama, just 12 miles from Auburn’s stadium.
