Wilson was also one of the top seniors in Alabama, and she too will remain in her home state as an Auburn signee. She capped her standout high school career by hitting .411 and posting a 1.145 OPS this spring with 10 doubles, five homers and 65 runs scored in 45 games. A five-year varsity player, Wilson had remarkably consistent numbers every season dating back to eighth grade, and both her on-base and slugging percentages this year were actually career lows. She also finished with 234 stolen bases in 231 games. Wilson likes to pull the ball on inside and outside pitches alike, and while line drives into the gaps are her specialty, she can also surprise defenses by laying down a bunt and beating it out.
