Miley “MK” McMullan continues to play a key role for one of the top high school programs in the nation, helping lead her team to back-to-back state championships. Pitching in a highly-competitive environment, McMullan has shown the ability to step into big moments and contribute to a variety of roles in the circle. She carries a 4.3 GPA in the classroom and has consistently proven herself as a dependable arm on a roster filled with talent. Her performance at the St. James Trojan Invitational highlighted that reliability. As her team went undefeated with a 4-0 record over the weekend, McMullan appeared in all four games either as a starter or in relief. Across 13 innings, she did not allow an earned run, striking out 22 while issuing just three walks and surrendering only three hits. Her ability to handle multiple appearances while maintaining command and limiting baserunners played an important role in her team’s success during the tournament.

Orange Beach may be one of the newest schools in Alabama, but the 4A Makos have already shaken up the Yellowhammer State’s softball landscape, as evidenced by the five state championships won by the program to date. Miley “MK” McMullan has helped Orange Beach to an undefeated start to begin its 2026 campaign. She concluded last season with a 16-1 record, in addition to posting an ERA of 0.77. McMullan has made seven appearances so far and has won six of them, including a complete game. Her ERA as of now is 0.52. She struck out 108 batters last season and has recorded 38 strikeouts so far in 2026. 

Miley “MK” McMullan was a force to be reckoned with at Scenic City, earning her spot among the 2028 top performers. A true two-way standout, McMullan batted an impressive .421 in 23 at-bats, consistently delivering in clutch moments to help propel her team to a Top 25 co-championship finish. In the circle, she was equally dominant, tossing 14 innings with 20 strikeouts, while allowing just four earned runs. Her presence was just as impactful on defense, where she anchored first base with lockdown consistency, turning tough plays into routine outs. MK’s all-around performance showcased her as one of the most complete and competitive players in the tournament.
