Pitching her first full season since she was a freshman, Ada Little is dominating in the circle in her final high school campaign. The Georgia signee has an ERA of 0.61 in 115 innings, striking out 195 batters against 37 walks. It took 38 innings to start the season for Little to allow her first run, and she had another streak of 38 straight scoreless frames that lasted from late March to mid-April. Little has been nearly as good offensively, batting .435 and slugging .812 with 26 RBI in 22 games. The left-hander can command both sides of the plate with plenty of lateral movement, and her rise ball often has hitters swinging out of their shoes and coming up empty. She has a nice, simple stroke at the plate that generates power to all fields.

Holly Beth Brooks will stay very close to home for college, committing to Alabama in October 2023. She has improved her power numbers as a senior, with a .355 average, 19 doubles, eight home runs and 64 RBI in 48 games. Brooks had more walks than strikeouts in each of the last three seasons and is outstanding defensively at catcher, with 10 assists and just two errors, while also helping turn three double plays. On one memorable occasion in travel ball last summer, Brooks laid a quick tag on a runner trying to score on a fly ball, then fired to third base that nailed another runner to complete a triple play. She has a short, compact swing that makes her power look almost effortless and a cannon for an arm behind the plate.

Wilson was also one of the top seniors in Alabama, and she too will remain in her home state as an Auburn signee. She capped her standout high school career by hitting .411 and posting a 1.145 OPS this spring with 10 doubles, five homers and 65 runs scored in 45 games. A five-year varsity player, Wilson had remarkably consistent numbers every season dating back to eighth grade, and both her on-base and slugging percentages this year were actually career lows. She also finished with 234 stolen bases in 231 games. Wilson likes to pull the ball on inside and outside pitches alike, and while line drives into the gaps are her specialty, she can also surprise defenses by laying down a bunt and beating it out.

Hannah Tober steadily improved year over year in high school and has put it all together as a senior to help lead New Kent to a deep playoff run. She is batting .618 with a 1.902 OPS as well as 13 doubles, nine home runs, 41 runs scored and 40 RBI through just 21 games, while striking out just twice. Signed to play at an on-the-rise Virginia program, Tober has a long swing that helps her drive the ball in the air to the pull side, the middle of the diamond and the opposite field. But she is also a complete offensive player with the speed and instincts to stretch hits an additional base. Tober was an all-state selection in each of her first three years and was named both Region and District Player of the Year in 2024.

Continuing the theme of players staying close to home for college, Bri Alejandre, from Los Angeles County, has signed with powerhouse UCLA. In 48 games between the last two years, she batted .500 with a .936 slugging percentage, 21 doubles, 13 homers and 70 runs scored. She did not strike out a single time as a senior and had 32 stolen bases. She hits the ball with great backspin, allowing her line drives to often carry all the way over the fence, and she can do damage even on pitches out of the strike zone. Defensively, she has a quick pivot when turning double plays at shortstop, and she also has good range and adjusts well to bad hops.

Another Southern California product, out of San Diego, Sinalei Talataina saw her numbers take a slight dip as a senior, but she is still more than ready for the next level and will play at Arizona. In four years at the varsity level, Talataina hit .407 with a 1.133 OPS, 37 doubles, 12 home runs, 118 RBI and nearly twice as many walks as strikeouts. She has good pitch recognition and bat control skills, and her 5-foot, 9-inch frame allows her to extend her arms and pull pitches off the outside corner over the wall. Talataina hits well against both righties and lefties and is most comfortable at third base, though she can also play first base.

The second Alabama signee on this list, Ana Roman has been a star since her freshman year in high school and batted .471 as a senior, the highest mark of her four seasons at Hagerty. She finished with 40 homers and 131 runs scored in 104 games, and drew 27 walks with just four strikeouts in her final year. Roman also stole 23 bases, more than doubling her previous high-water mark, and made just one error in the field. She has also made her mark on the international stage, helping Puerto Rico win a gold medal at the WBSC U-18 Pan-American Championship last year.

Idaho may not be a softball hotbed compared to other states, but Molly Hodge has been making her mark ever since she was a freshman. She hit .593 this past spring with 13 home runs, 60 runs scored and 41 RBI in 25 games. The Boise State signee walked more often than she struck out, and her home run total equalled her previous three seasons combined. Hodge complemented her power with excellent speed, far eclipsing her previous career high with 18 stolen bases. She has good opposite-field power as a left-handed hitter and has pitched on occasion as well.

In a state that has never lacked for top-end talent, Malayna Daigle put together two spectacular seasons at Notre Dame, slashing .594/.713/1.412 between her junior and senior years with 35 homers, 73 walks and just nine strikeouts in 66 games, scoring 127 runs and driving in 121. She was also a maniac on the basepaths with at least 35 steals in both seasons. The left-handed bat provided power to all fields from the leadoff spot, using a high leg kick before the pitch is even thrown to transfer weight to her front foot. Daigle will remain in Louisiana to play at McNeese, a consistently strong mid-major program in recent years.
