Five 2025 Corner Infielders To Watch

This year's high school senior class is loaded with future college softball stars, and that includes some outstanding corner infielders. But before the top corners in the class of 2025 begin their collegiate tenures, they still have goals to achieve during the final campaign of their high school and club careers.   Below, we examine five corner infielders to watch this season from the 2025 recruiting class.    The Iowa native will stay in her home state for her collegiate career at the University of Iowa. Myers, who has enormous power, is a complete hitter who uses all fields and can also hit for average. It's not a surprise to onlookers when she blasts multiple bombs in one game for her Saint Edmond squad. She also hardly ever strikes out, and is ultimately a huge get for the Hawkeyes.     Aumua, a PGF Futures All-American, has a mighty bat out of California. She'll bring her hitting talents to Auburn next fall, where she'll look to make an immediate impact in the Tigers' lineup. And just like the pitchers she faces at the prep and club levels, SEC hurlers will need to be extra careful when pitching to Aumua, who is always a threat to change the game in a big way with one swing.     Forrester, who will play in the SEC at Missouri, set the Aces' single-season home run record with 28. She dominates at the high school level as well, earning All-District Player of the Year honors twice out of Oklahoma's Miami High School. She is a serious power threat at the plate, and she'll compete for a significant role in the Tigers' lineup starting next fall.     Talataina is solid both defensively and offensively, with the ability to play either corner infield position at an elite level. She's battle-tested out of California, as she's faced and done well against some of the top pitchers in her recruiting class. The Wildcats hit the jackpot when they landed Talataina, who was heavily recruited and has a chance to make an impact right away at the next level.     Wilson, who is a four-time state champion out of prep powerhouse Orange Beach High School in Alabama, is also a two-time PGF national champion. She's competed and performed well at the highest level of both high school and club softball, and is undoubtedly ready to do the same in the SEC for Auburn.
