2029 Prospects Turning Tournament Performances Into Buzz

In the circle, she threw 146.1 innings across the club season and picked up 16 wins and 178 strikeouts. At the plate, Rodriguez added five home runs and 35 RBI to her tally. Her best performance of the summer came at Triple Crown Nationals, where she notched four wins in the circle and threw a perfect game while hitting .444 at the plate. She consistently reached base with a .447 average across 94 at-bats, scoring 33 runs in the process. Early in the season at a Georgia tournament, Shea hit .727 to lead her team with a 1.477 OPS, getting off to a hot start that she rode through the year. With her Texas Blaze United team, Collins won the Lone Star Summer Invitational and put together an impressive performance in the circle, allowing just two earned runs in 18 innings of work. At the club level, Gooden returned to the United States for the PGF national tournament and made key impacts, including collecting two big hits in a win against the Newtown Rock. At the Stingrays Showcase this summer, Speer used an OPS of 1.110 and three doubles to put together an impressive weekend at the plate, building on a performance in which she hit .583 in pool play of the Great Lakes Firecracker tournament. Speer attended camp at Pittsburgh and Marshall in July and will only continue to perform at a high level as her playing career continues.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
