Molly Shea’s versatility at the plate this summer made for a successful club campaign with the strong Birmingham Thunderbolts program. She consistently reached base with a .447 average across 94 at-bats, scoring 33 runs in the process. Early in the season at a Georgia tournament, Shea hit .727 to lead her team with a 1.477 OPS, getting off to a hot start that she rode through the year. Shea attended Texas Tech’s elite camp in June and will surely get more invites this fall.
