Raylee Pigg is a multi-sport athlete who also plays basketball and volleyball alongside what she gets accomplished on the softball diamond. Defensively, Pigg is a utility player in addition to how she can help a team win from the pitcher's circle. Recently, her Chesterfield team matched up against Cheraw. Chesterfield dominated Cheraw in two contests, outscoring its opponents by a combined margin of 35-2. In those games, Pigg went 5-for-5, including a double, a triple, and six RBIs. Pigg also made things difficult for Cheraw from the circle, as 11 of the 18 batters she faced were sent back to the dugout via the strikeout.

The Chargers of 7A Oxford finished four games under .500 last season at 13-17. Thanks to Sidney Franklin's play, Oxford appears poised to eclipse that 2025 win total, as it is currently 11-7 with six games left in its regular season. One of the Chargers' most recent wins occurred in a 10-8 slugfest against another 7A team in Clinton. Franklin aided her team's cause with two hits, three runs scored and a walk. She was especially instrumental in delivering Oxford's first victory of the 2026 campaign. It occurred in a 9-6 decision against South Pontotoc, during which she hit a two-run home run and was a triple shy of the cycle.

Impact Caymol National Wall 2029/2030 recently announced Kaidyn Cole as a new addition to its roster. Defensively, Cole can be placed in a team's defensive lineup either as a center fielder or a shortstop. Prior to her joining her current travel team, she wore the uniform of Arkansas Nemesis Gold 14U. One of the team's recent contests in its spring season occurred against North Mississippi Premier 13U, during which a two-run home run from Cole proved to be the big hit in a 3-0 victory. Cole had another big hit in a 4-0 victory over Unity 2030 Jones 14U, as she blasted an RBI triple in the top of the third inning with a full count.

McKyna San Miguel recently got the chance to play up in class at the Top Club Spring Invite in Oklahoma against 18Us. Two-run doubles are a great way to provide energy to a team, especially in a contest that resulted in a 6-5 win, as Bombers Gold Futures 14U demonstrated in late March against Buzz Gold Futures 14U. Another way to provide a jolt of energy to a dugout is via a three-run home run, and San Miguel delivered just that on the first pitch of her at-bat in the top of the sixth inning against Hustle National 2030 Hudson. Bombers Gold Futures 14U prevailed by a final score of 7-0 in that contest.

Sofia Esterline is an intriguing Keystone State prospect who has played travel ball for the Virginia Glory 2030 Spring Taxi organization out of the Washington, D.C. area. One can place her in a team's defensive lineup either on the left side of the infield or as part of a team's battery as a catcher. Last month, Esterline was announced as a USA Softball All-American Games selection as part of Team Freedom. In February, Esterline brought her talents with her club team to the PGF Florida Fastpitch Classic. She provided energy at the plate with a .429 average and three runs driven in, and on the bases with a trio of stolen bases plus a .556 on-base percentage.

Carleigh Hamilton is another player from the Virginia Glory National organization, and she has also worn a uniform with the letters “USA” inscribed on it. One of her team's final games of its March schedule saw Virginia Glory 2030 Spring Taxi dominate TN Ballhawks Dotson 13U by a score of 11-1. She contributed a double, two runs scored, and one RBI in that offensive onslaught. That was part of an overall performance at the PGF Atlanta Vipers Tournament, where her team went 4-2 and she posted a .471 batting average. Prior to that, she had another big game on March 22 against Virginia Vibe Johnson 14U. The contest resulted in a 7-4 Virginia Glory 2030 Spring Taxi win, during which she posted a three-run home run, two triples, and four RBIs. Hamilton and her Virginia Glory team are scheduled to resume play in a few days at the ACFL Spring Invitational in Richmond.
