On her social media page, Delia Ackley explained that she was recently overlooked because of her age and height. Well, a sharply hit triple in the gap quickly changed everyone's minds. When Ackley sees a pitch she can drive, she swings confidently and with authority. She has impressive bat-to-ball skills, and she can also fly around the bases. Defensively, she plays focused and under control. She has a mindset perfectly equipped to make routine and difficult plays on the field. She brings plenty of energy to the diamond and does not have to be told to hustle or lay out for a catch.

You may not think about it at first, but being a good wrestler can also lead to being a good catcher. Just ask Venice Perez, who is a national and state wrestling champion in South Carolina. According to Perez, she utilizes her wrestling techniques during her workouts, and it's paying off in real time. After being invited to join Rock Gold Godwin/Britt 18U for a tournament recently, she answered the call and was a brick wall behind the plate. She also went 5-for-8 with the bat and did not strike out once. She recently clocked in at a speedy 1.88 seconds for her pop time and has a goal of getting it down to 1.80. She is a motivated and highly skilled athlete.

It's difficult to say where on the softball field Bailey Morgan is more impressive: in the batter's box or in the circle. During her middle school season this year, she racked up 26 strikeouts in just three games. Her changeup has terrific movement, and her drop ball gets plenty of batters caught looking. Don't sleep on her rise ball either; most hitters can't catch up to it. With the bat, she has consistently put up big numbers. At the Rivertown Classic in late September, she scored six runs, drove in three, and had a .571 on-base percentage. Then, the very next weekend at the PGF Super Select Gladiator, she had a .429 batting average for the tournament and a 1.071 OPS. A multi-sport athlete, she's pretty good at basketball on the hard court as well.

Anna Bailey's power stroke has been on full display this fall. In a recent game against the Todd County Rebels, Bailey ripped a letter-high pitch over the left field wall for a walk-off three-run home run. She has excellent plate coverage, power to all fields, doesn't try to do too much with her swing, and can really motor around the bases. She can turn on pitches at eye level, which not everyone can say. Defensively, she plays a solid first base and can nab wicked line drives headed down the line.

Consistency is the name of the game for Kamiyah Miller. In her first fall ball tournament with the Newberry Nitro, she picked up two hits, including a double, and scored four runs. In her second tournament, she maintained a .526 on-base percentage and picked up another hit. Overall, through three tournaments, she has scored nine runs, has two stolen bases, five hit-by-pitches, and a .267 batting average. Miller has a positive mindset that helps her overcome mistakes and put her best foot forward. She puts in the work off the field, is a supportive teammate, and can be counted on to get on base.
