It’s difficult to say where on the softball field Bailey Morgan is more impressive: in the batter’s box or in the circle. During her middle school season this year, she racked up 26 strikeouts in just three games. Her changeup has terrific movement, and her drop ball gets plenty of batters caught looking. Don’t sleep on her rise ball either; most hitters can’t catch up to it. With the bat, she has consistently put up big numbers. At the Rivertown Classic in late September, she scored six runs, drove in three, and had a .571 on-base percentage. Then, the very next weekend at the PGF Super Select Gladiator, she had a .429 batting average for the tournament and a 1.071 OPS. A multi-sport athlete, she’s pretty good at basketball on the hard court as well.
