10 2030 LTG Prospects To Watch

The Love the Game (LTG) organization, based in Northern California, has been building a sisterhood since 2012. With a program families trust, LTG continues to grow while providing an environment where female athletes can develop both on and off the field.   At the 14U and 16U levels, Coach Joe Henderson has built a system designed for success. Henderson and the LTG Bucks coaching staff have assembled multiple teams loaded with talent and potential.   Below, Prep Softball takes a look at 10 2030 prospects from Coach Henderson and Coach Buck's 14U LTG team.    Speed and effortless athleticism are just two of the many tools in [player_tooltip player_id='146086' first='Bailey' last='Hitchcock']'s toolbox. The Lions' middle infielder and outfielder brings a productive bat to the lineup while consistently putting pressure on opposing defenses. A tough out at the plate, Hitchcock utilizes her speed on the base paths, scoring nearly every time she reaches first. Defensively, she's just as reliable, making nearly every ball hit to her look routine.     Left-handed hitter [player_tooltip player_id='182199' first='Geneveve' last='Ludwig'] uses her leverage to generate power. Her ability to drive a ball to the opposite field with power makes her a tough out for opposing defenders. Not only does Ludwig present herself as a tough out at the plate, but also on the bases, where she will use her speed and game awareness to take extra bases, creating runs for her offense.     Adding another left-handed hitter to the LTG Bucks lineup, [player_tooltip player_id='146648' first='Kailey' last='Bommarito'] is a key producer on both sides of the ball. With a cannon behind the plate, Bommarito keeps opposing runners honest and provides a steady presence behind the dish. Offensively, she consistently carries her weight, driving in runs, reaching base, and capitalizing once she's on, making her a reliable contributor in the middle of the lineup.     Packed with growing potential, Christiana Fong continues to make her presence felt on both sides of the ball. The Lions infielder uses her impressive range and fluidity on the dirt to take away base hits with ease. Offensively, Fong drives the ball with authority, producing runs while consistently reaching base and creating opportunities for her team.     [player_tooltip player_id='182202' first='Trinity' last='Houdashelt'] lets very little fall in the outfield. With impressive range both in front of and behind her, the rising freshman outfielder for Freedom High School consistently helps her pitchers by tracking down balls all over the field. Her effortless speed allows her to make difficult plays look routine, putting a glove on nearly everything hit in her direction. Offensively, Houdashelt brings the same impact to the plate, competing in every at-bat while producing runs when her team needs them most.     A threat on both sides of the ball for the LTG Bucks 2030 team, [player_tooltip player_id='182203' first='Whitney' last='Wallace'] has been a consistent producer all summer. A wall at second base, Wallace takes away base hits with her instincts and reliability. Offensively, she continues to make her presence felt, putting together quality at-bats, finding ways to reach base, and driving in runs when her team needs her. Her consistency on both sides of the ball continues to prove just how valuable she is to the Bucks.     Unafraid, [player_tooltip player_id='122155' first='Kendall' last='Renshaw'] is a fierce competitor on the field and a relentless teammate. Renshaw gets the job done. The middle infielder consistently contributes on both sides of the ball, making routine plays defensively while putting together quality at-bats and finding ways to produce offensively. Her consistency and competitive mindset made her a key contributor for the Bucks throughout the summer.     Delaney Horton, a rising freshman at Vanden High School, creates havoc offensively. A power slapper with elite speed, Horton keeps opposing defenses on their toes, using her speed to beat out infield hits while also driving the ball for extra bases. Defensively, her speed and range allow her to cover an immense amount of ground, taking away hits and making difficult plays look routine.     [player_tooltip player_id='182393' first='Isla' last='Broussard'] packs a powerful punch. A competitor on both sides of the ball, the right-handed pitcher never goes down without a fight. Full of explosiveness, Broussard brings speed on the bases, power in the circle, and pop at the plate, showcasing her versatility in every aspect of the game. Her relentless work ethic and aggressive style of play continue to prove she's a player with tremendous potential.     The right-handed catcher for LTG and Elk Grove native is a complete utility player. Combining her athleticism with a high softball IQ, [player_tooltip player_id='182205' first='Ellie' last='Liu'] makes quick decisions and consistently impacts the game. Behind the plate, she takes control of the defense, leading with confidence while bringing stability and order to every inning.
