Expert Analysis
Morgan Merzon | Prep Softball Scout
Delaney Horton, a rising freshman at Vanden High School, creates havoc offensively. A power slapper with elite speed, Horton keeps opposing defenses on their toes, using her speed to beat out infield hits while also driving the ball for extra bases. Defensively, her speed and range allow her to cover an immense amount of ground, taking away hits and making difficult plays look routine.
