<p>Below, Prep Softball highlights five underrated prospects from the high school graduating class of 2029 who are worth knowing this summer and beyond.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Mabel Jordan out of Wisconsin is a 2029 prospect to keep an eye on this summer. The middle infielder and utility player plays school ball for Monticello/New Glarus and travel ball for Rock River Stix at the 16U level. She is driven to compete, learn, and grow her game, and calls herself a "defense-first shortstop with advanced glove work and footwork, a quick release, and a strong, accurate arm." She is also consistent at the plate with confidence and developing power. Jordan is certainly a player to watch this summer and beyond.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Brooklyn Campbell out of California is a defensively-sound corner infielder, who excels at both first and third base. Competing in club ball for Team San Diego Baca 2010 and in school ball for Mira Mesa High School, Campbell is a powerful hitter who also hits for average. She possesses a tall and strong build with a calm demeanor on the field, making her a player with a solid physical and mental foundation that will only improve as time goes on.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Camryn Ballew out of Missouri is a talented catcher and first baseman for Iowa Premier - 14U Paz/Carter and Fayette High School. She enjoys working with her pitchers, calling pitches, and competing every inning on the diamond. With her team-first attitude, she is an exemplary leader for her squads. Ballew also enjoys playing against top competition and pushing herself to improve, which will undoubtedly help her throughout her recruiting process and beyond.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Addison Waldo from Massachusetts is a third baseman and utility player with a ton of athleticism and versatility. Playing school ball for Wachusett Regional High School and club ball for Voodoo Preston 16U Gold, Waldo shines on and off the field. The 2025 USSSA All-American also carries a 4.12 GPA in the classroom, showing that she is just as dedicated to her studies as she is to softball. Her strong abilities on both offense and defense, along with her high academics, make her an intriguing prospect out of the Northeast.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Avery Olsen from Illinois brings a little bit of everything to the softball diamond. The Barrington High School and KR Premier 16U standout excels as a right-handed pitcher, first baseman, hitter, and student, as she maintains a 3.9 GPA in the classroom. She describes herself as a leader who is "composed, aggressive, and intelligent" on the field. Her competitive, yet friendly personality allows her to display her leadership skills, which she says have been further developed by playing highly-competitive travel softball for more than six years. We expect that Olsen will continue to grow her game and develop into a top Northeast prospect in her class in the coming months and years of her recruiting process.</p>
