Avery Olsen from Illinois brings a little bit of everything to the softball diamond. The Barrington High School and KR Premier 16U standout excels as a right-handed pitcher, first baseman, hitter, and student, as she maintains a 3.9 GPA in the classroom. She describes herself as a leader who is “composed, aggressive, and intelligent” on the field. Her competitive, yet friendly personality allows her to display her leadership skills, which she says have been further developed by playing highly-competitive travel softball for more than six years. We expect that Olsen will continue to grow her game and develop into a top Northeast prospect in her class in the coming months and years of her recruiting process.
