2029 Pitchers Who Are Bringing The Heat In June

Black recently played at the Top Gun Heritage tournament, helping her team win the 18U division. She struck out 43 batters in 21 innings of work and threw a one-hit shutout in the championship game. In her fall high school season at Blanchard, Black went 20-4 with a 0.72 ERA and 175 strikeouts, helping the Lions to a state runner-up showing. Balavender struck out 204 batters during her freshman season at Melbourne, maintaining a 1.04 ERA and also batting .308. She threw a perfect game in the district semifinals to keep the Bulldogs advancing. Balavender will play on a talented Tampa Mustangs team over the summer with three players committed to Tennessee and one headed to Kentucky. Lint enjoyed a 13-0 campaign for Dover in her freshman season, sporting a 0.44 ERA over 80 innings. She struck out 161 batters while walking just 12 batters and finished the year with a 0.53 WHIP. Prior to her impressive spring, Lint earned 100 strikeouts for the Beverly Bandits during the club season. Playing against challenging California competition for Notre Dame, Jenkins pitched 67.1 innings of varsity ball, striking out 34 batters against just nine walks. She earned All-Mission League Second-Team honors for her strong play in key situations for the Knights. Pitching for Danbury, Tong enjoyed a strong outing in the Connecticut state tournament to start June, striking out 16 batters in a complete-game shutout, in which she allowed just one hit against Bristol Central. This summer, Tong will play with Unity Torres/Plath. In January, Tong pitched 12.2 scoreless innings for her club squad, fanning 30 batters.
