<p>Below, Prep Softball highlights five players from the class of 2029 who could end up playing for one of the SEC's 15 programs.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='148248' first='LG' last='Goldin'] spent most of her fall helping Buford High School go 36-0 and win a Georgia state championship. She finished off the tournament with a three-hit performance, ending the game via the run-rule with a three-run home run. With her club team Georgia Impact Premier, Goldin played in the Clearwater Fall Classic, which wrapped up Sunday. She had a strong performance in Saturday's win over Texas Glory, going 2-for-3 with a home run. Goldin also drove in a run with a triple to tie the semifinal game with Athletics Gold Tamborra late. The sister of 2027 Oklahoma State commit [player_tooltip player_id='106935' first='Janie' last='Goldin'], [player_tooltip player_id='148248' first='LG' last='Goldin'] has visited Georgia, Auburn and Florida in 2025.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">After visiting Tennessee and pitching coach Megan Rhodes Smith for camp over the summer, [player_tooltip player_id='145721' first='Sophia' last='Blane'] has enjoyed a strong fall season for Athletics Gold Tamborra. At the Champions Elite Showcase and Veterans Showcase, Blane combined for a .579 average and 1.389 OPS. In Clearwater at the Fall Classic, Blane allowed two earned runs in 17 innings of work and went 3-for-3 at the plate in the championship game against the Birmingham Thunderbolts. Blane also attended camp at Auburn over the summer.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">A two-way player who plays first base in the field, Lila Peters made waves while playing club ball for Texas Glory. At the NTFCA Fall Showdown in October, Peters helped her team to the championship going, 4-for-9 at the plate with two home runs and six RBIs. At the Ronald McDonald tournament held later that same month, she was productive in Texas Glory's lineup, going 3-for-6 while driving one runner in. Peters went to camps at Arkansas and Ole Miss over the summer and is a player on the radar of SEC coaches.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='131882' first='Makenzie' last='Leidecker'] was a major part of an undefeated record for the Birmingham Thunderbolts this past weekend at the Clearwater Fall Classic. In the circle, Leidecker allowed one run in 4.1 innings of work, striking out two batters. At the plate, she ended her tournament with a walk-off RBI double in the championship game to finish off her team's perfect record. Over the summer, Leidecker visited Florida, Auburn and Kentucky, and also attended an LSU camp held in Colorado.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">McCall Clayton was also part of the Birmingham Thunderbolts team that won the Clearwater Fall Classic. In the championship game, she turned a double play at third base in the top of the sixth to end the inning, setting the stage for Leidecker to hit the walk-off double. At the CFPA Showcases over the first weekend in February, Clayton helped her team to a 4-1 performance with a .454 average and eight RBIs. Clayton visited Florida for camp in June and attended Auburn's camp in September. She attends Opelika High School in Alabama, just 12 miles from Auburn's stadium.</p>
