She's turned herself into an extra-bases machine, collecting 58 total extra-base hits through her two years at the varsity level. This past spring, she collected 19 doubles and bulldozed her way into the Ohio record books with a school-record 15 home runs. Her 61 hits became a state record, and she even set another state record with six consecutive games with a home run hit. Riley uses her power to hit the gaps consistently for those extra-base hits, and she's generating so much power already that many of those once sure-fire doubles are now going over the fence.

Jackie Nettles is a talented power bat that burst onto the scene in her first year of varsity softball with Northridge Academy. In her first 22 games last season, she collected 13 doubles, legged out eight triples and blasted 11 home runs. Her incredible season earned her plenty of regional and statewide honors in California, which is an area full of talented softball stars. She's athletic, yet possesses a tremendously powerful swing that allows her entire frame to attack the ball at the point of contact. In just one year, she's placed herself on the radar to be one of the top extra-base hitters on the West Coast.

Emily Mathys has already been touted by Prep Softball as someone who significantly raised her stock after her freshman season. Not only did she grow into an ace-level player for Kingman Academy and on the travel ball circuit, but she's also demonstrated tremendous capabilities at the plate as a force to be reckoned with. Her 16 doubles ranked near the top in the state of Arizona for all players, and she put up gaudy RBI numbers along with a .617 batting average. Her freshman season was incredibly exciting and sets her up for something even more special to take place going forward.

Like many other players on this list, Jaeda Tucker is as good a pitcher as she is a hitter. She's a standout lefty in the circle with a tremendously small ERA to prove it. And then she steps into the box and mashes. In her first taste of varsity softball, Jaeda drove in 64 runs with a .598 batting average. Twenty of her 58 hits were two-baggers, and she added in six home runs. Jaeda is a tremendous athlete, which likely means many of those doubles will soon turn into home runs, and she'll be less of a gap-to-gap hitter and more of a middle-of-the-order menace for opposing teams.

Mialynn Membrilla couldn't break through to the varsity roster in her freshman year. But that didn't stop her from dominating the second she got up to Piner's top team this past season. In the spring, Mialynn batted .611 with 23 doubles, one triple and 49 RBIs. Her performances earned her NBL Redwood League's Softball Player of the Year honors. She's a speedy player who ropes softballs to the wall and grinds out extra bases any time she can. Opposing defenses always need to stay on their toes with Mialynn at the plate, especially when the ball gets into the outfield.
