Five 2030 Infielders Making Every Play Look Easy

Amadeo thrives as a middle infielder, but can also serve as a utility player. She understands that middle infielders are almost always involved in double play opportunities, so she gets that having a quick release on her throw is important. Amadeo has a knack for knowing to make the right plays in the right moments, and brings a high softball IQ with her to the field. During the spring season, Espich more than earned her time in the field, as she recorded a fielding percentage of .986 with more than 120 putouts. She also spends time behind the plate as a catcher, in addition to her playing in the infield. As a catcher and infielder, she understands the importance of there being chemistry between the two defensive spots. She had a long trip to arrive in Tennessee during the second weekend of June for the PGF Super Select Championship. Her heads-up play enables her to take advantage of mistakes on the bases by baserunners. Being a middle infielder, she also gets the importance of being ready for double play opportunities. Frias throws with her right hand but bats from the left side, where she also thrives as a slapper. She is another player who can spend time as a pitcher, in addition to being a middle infielder. Most of the time in the field, she plays as a middle infielder. She has been praised for her work ethic, and it shows in the field, particularly with double play opportunities. Lemon's attention to detail enables her to stay one step ahead of opposing baserunners and be on the receiving end of unsuccessful stolen-base attempts. Her stellar defensive infield has helped her Indiana Gators Premier 14U Luikart team compile over 30 victories since last August.
