A multi-sport athlete who plays volleyball in addition to softball, Winter Blake-Chapman Winter Blake-Chapman 1B/OF Bucksport | 2029 ME has a professional approach at the plate, letting the ball get deep before using her quick swing to hit it sharply to the opposite field or up the middle. Primarily a first baseman, Blake-Chapman has excellent footwork defensively as she receives throws from her fellow infielders. She also does a good job bending down to secure low throws, bailing her teammates out of errors. Blake-Chapman plays for the Sluggers 16U club team and was named player of the month for December. She takes no days off in the classroom either and was a student of the month nominee at her school in November. Blake-Chapman is coming off a strong fall season, collecting a pair of clutch hits at the Fastpitch Nation Halloween Spooktacular tournament in Connecticut, and is on track for another big year in 2026.
