How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
Committed, I will out work most girls, every day. I love the game, I am not easily rattled and I am committed to my teammates. Har
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I'm serious but I like to have fun. If anything makes me special as an athlete it is my work ethic and my commitment to putting in the work when no one is looking. I very much want to be surrounded by girls who are willing to work as hard as me and who will push me to be the best I can be.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I have received a couple of leadership recognitions over the years. I also play soccer and growing up I was quite serious about playing the cello, as I transition to high school I will probably move away from that to focus on softball, soccer and my academics.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
II am a solid leader, I am committed to my teammates, I enjoy building friendships that I hope will be life long. Like I have mentioned before, my work ethic is special I think, I don't know anyone who puts as much time in off the field as I do. I get involved in specific events and causes when they come up. Specifically I have enjoyed working with younger kids at softball and soccer camps.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Fortunately none yet! Probably my most frustrating challenge is playing on my school softball team that does not have any other girls that seem to be fully committed to softball. It makes school ball very frustrating for me and at times I have not wanted to play, but I have stuck with it and I try to inspire my peers to work as hard as they can to make progress.
What type of college are you looking for?
I would love to be closeish to home however I have a strong desire to play at the highest level I am capable of playing at and contributing to. I would prefer not to be in a city environment but again I will not overlook great opportunities for any one reason. I want to play at a high level and get a great education! As I get older I think other things will become more important to me.
