Strikeouts seem to come easy for Presley Allen, and so far this year it’s no different. In the first tournament of the season for her Impact Gold Squad, she confounded batters with 20 strikeouts over 14 innings pitched, and had a strike percentage of nearly 70%. The following month at the Top Club National Spring Invite, she collected 15 strikeouts over 16.3 innings pitched. In total, so far this season, she has 55 strikeouts. She has a nasty rise ball with plenty of movement and a solid knee-buckler for her off-speed pitch. Allen is a terrific athlete who also runs track (she placed first in the 400m at a meet this spring) and plays golf to boot.
