Mackenzie Cooper’s first varsity season is the perfect launching pad for further success in her softball career. Cooper hit .353 in her first 12 high school games for Immaculate’s varsity squad across 41 plate appearances, driving in 10 runs and hitting two home runs. She also stole eight bases during the season. Cooper will look to build off of her high school season when she returns to action with the Connecticut Charge for the summer club campaign. Cooper attended UConn camp in January and is sure to receive more college attention as her recruiting process continues.
