For any team matching up against Hebron Christian, a key to victory is mustering offense against the Lions’ sophomore ace in the circle. Kennedy tossed a six-inning, no-hitter in which she struck out nine. She also struck out 12 batters in Hebron Christian’s 11-8 victory over Providence Christian. On Friday against Wesleyan, Kennedy did not make things easy on her team’s bats, as she held the Wolves to only two runs. 

Kate Kennedy has been nearly unstoppable this fall, leading her team to a state tournament appearance with dominant performances in the circle. Posting a 23-2 record and a 1.90 ERA in 136.2 innings, she has consistently silenced opposing hitters, striking out an impressive 233, while holding them to just a .163 average. Her ability to command the zone and change speeds keeps lineups off balance, and her competitive edge shines brightest in high-pressure games. Kennedy’s season has been defined by consistency and control, proving she’s one of the most reliable and dynamic pitchers in her class.
