Hadley Peterson brings impact tools to two demanding defensive positions, working as both a catcher and third baseman. Behind the plate, her sub-1.9 pop time paired with a personal-best overhand velocity of 63 mph gives her the ability to get the ball out quickly and challenge runners. That throwing ability also translates well to the hot corner, where a strong arm can become a major asset. Peterson is putting an emphasis on becoming a stronger and more explosive athlete, spending time in the weight room to improve both her strength and speed. She also brings legitimate home run power to the lineup, giving her the potential to influence games on both sides of the ball.

Hadley Peterson is delivering for Iowa Premier this spring season at the plate, achieving great individual and team successes in the process. At the Aftershock Classic, Peterson excelled with a 2.107 OPS across the tournament, helping her team to the event championship. Peterson advanced through her region’s USA Softball High Performance Program tryout and is on the radar as one of the best prospects from her region. The Dubuque, Iowa native is slowly but surely working her way into becoming one of the top names to know.
