About Daniella
Expert Analysis
Akiem Bailum | Prep Softball Scout
Daniella Neve currently plays at South Fayette Middle School. One of the Lions’ recent games occurred earlier in May against Beaver. South Fayette earned the victory in an 11-7 slugfest, in large part because of the tough out that Neve is. She hit at the top of South Fayette’s order and hit a pair of home runs. Neve also scored on four occasions. At one point during the spring campaign with South Fayette, Neve was hitting .760 and had nine hits in 10 at-bats. In addition to what she can get done defensively as a middle infielder, Neve also thrives as a utility player. Once May concludes, she will begin her travel schedule in June with Unity 16U Attard/Johnson.

Daniella Neve has quickly become one of the most talked-about young players in the 2030 class. A true rising star, she made her mark at the Alliance Fastpitch event by being named the hardest-throwing player in her class and finishing fourth overall among athletes spanning 12U through 18U divisions. That kind of arm strength is rare, especially at her age, with a 70 mph overhand velocity that places her among the elite players across the country. Daniella is not content with just raw power. She is putting in the hours to refine her defensive game, sharpening her footwork, glove work, and infield instincts to become a complete player. As an elite middle infielder with exceptional athleticism and a drive to improve, she is on a clear path toward becoming one of the cornerstone names in the next wave of softball talent.

is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about names in the Keystone State. Her mechanics and strength continue to develop with every season. With an overhand velocity reaching 70 mph, Neve makes it tough for runners to have success when she’s in the infield. At the 14U level, Neve batted an impressive .414 with 44 runs scored, 16 doubles, three triples, a home run, and 41 RBIs, which are stats that speak to both her power and consistency. Smooth on her feet and quick with her throws, Neve combines raw athleticism with refined skill. Her advanced game continues to separate her from the competition, proving she’s not just talented, she’s special. As the years go on, her name will only keep catching fire, just like her passion for the sport.

A left-handed hitter with a refined stroke, Daniella Neve has the look of a confident player who has been working at her craft for multiple years. She will lash line drives into the opposite-field gap and stretch singles into doubles without any hesitation, and she is a rock-solid defender at shortstop and second base, making sliding stops on her backhand side and throwing out runners from her knees. Neve is well-traveled for a prospect her age, having been to camps at LSU, Duke, Pittsburgh and Penn State, and she is a standout in the classroom as well, with a 4.0 GPA. Expect her to remain on coaches’ radars for the next several years as her already-advanced skill set grows even stronger.
