Top 2027 Prospects To Watch In Georgia

Continuing our tour of Southeast youth softball talent, we are heading back to the Peach State. The class of 2027 from Georgia is shaping up to be an exceptional group of softball student-athletes. From small towns to big cities, Georgia's rising stars are making their mark with impressive stats, unwavering commitment, and a passion for the game that promises to elevate the sport to new heights.   As they prepare to transition from high school to collegiate levels in the near future, these players are setting the stage for what's to come, and inspiring the next generation of athletes across the state.    Livi is a nationally-ranked catcher and multi-sport athlete from Fayetteville, GA. In both high school and travel ball this year, she batted well over .400 and surpassed 150 innings behind the dish. Livi's impressive 1.8 pop time and 65 MPH overhand velocity make her a threat behind the plate that most runners do not want to test. She's earned multiple honors so far during her high school career (academically and athletically), and with her strong work ethic, she is expected to earn many more. Keep an eye out for Livi, as she will play a big role in her first season with her GA Impact team.     It is not too common to hear of a right-handed hitter reaching first base in under three seconds. However, Brooklyn is one of the few who can. In fact, it only takes her 2.68 seconds to run 60 feet. Her speed, plus her home run power, makes Brooklyn one of the rising stars in the Impact Caymol organization. This past summer, her travel team had multiple top finishes at the nation's biggest events, which had a lot to do with Brooklyn's consistent bat and defense. Her high school team made it to the state championship this fall as well. Continue to keep an eye on Brooklyn, as playing elite competition will continue to prepare her to thrive at the next level.     Recently named the Region 6-6A Player of the Year, Camryn had a great sophomore season with her Denmark High School team. Her 14 wins, 1.83 ERA, .943 WHIP, and six shutouts allowed her team to win the region championship for the first time in school history. Additionally, they reached the Sweet 16 in playoffs. In travel and high school ball this past year, Camryn held her ground against top competition and proved she can keep her team in any game.     Kamryn is a hard-working, multi-sport athlete from the heart of Georgia. When she's not on the softball field, she is on the track. When she's not on the track, you can find her at a hitting facility perfecting her craft nearly every day. Kamryn has an incredible work ethic, which will take her very far in this game. For her respective teams, she is an RBI machine and leads her defense from the shortstop position. Kamryn is a base-stealing threat each time she gets on base, as her speed is one of her strongest assets.     Another notable pitcher in the 2027 class is Jordyn Ray from Snellville, GA. Recently named the Region 7-6A Pitcher of the Year, Jordyn carried her team in the circle to another region championship and deep into the playoffs this school season. Over 84 innings pitched this fall, she is 14-0, has 78 strikeouts, a BAA of only .205, and an impressive 1.075 ERA. Not only does she provide support for her team in the circle, but she also provides power at the plate, having hit seven home runs this high school season.
