This kid is fearless when attacking the strike zone, and when you invest in yourself and spend time outside of practice working on every pitch, your confidence shows. Maria Jones has a significant speed difference between her fastball and changeup, making it a guessing game off those two pitches alone. From there, she also has a rise ball and a newly developed drop ball in her arsenal. Jones also fields the pitcher position athletically, and while with more limited opportunities, she has shown she can be a contributor at the plate as well.
