She has put up impressive numbers in a Brewer MS uniform, including a .582 average, seven doubles, and 19 RBIs. The summer travel season has seen Holeman wear a Prospex 14U Robinson uniform. Last month, she contributed to her team being one run better than Talley Performance Softball 14U in a 13-12 slugfest. Holeman contributed a pair of walks, a run scored, and an RBI. She also scored two runs, stole a base, and was hit by a pitch in a 13-0 run-rule rout of Tuscaloosa Prime Softball 14U at the end of last month.

Olivia Lesczinski set a goal for herself to hit 55 miles per hour on her fastball. She recently got it to 56, and now wants it at 60. She is a right-handed pitcher who can also spend time in center field and at shortstop. Lesczinski was the toughest out in a recent contest with Long Island Rage 12U Lunn, as she helped her team's cause with a three-run home run in the top of the fourth in what would be a 7-7 tie. Prior to that contest, Lesczinski and her Capital District Fusion Kruger 12U team participated in the Take It To The Xtreme invite. One of those contests would be a 6-2 win over New York Titans 12U, in which she delivered a two-run double in the top of the third.

We at Prep Softball recently spotlighted Isabella Sestiaga back in March as a middle school standout who could become a future star. Sestiaga has had the chance to play up in class in 14U and 16U divisions. In an 8-6 victory earlier this month, Sestiaga contributed a stolen base, a walk, and an RBI. She also helped her team with two singles and an RBI in a recent 6-5 win over RogueFC 2K13. She and her teammates recently took part in the PGF Florida State Championship, and she contributed to a 3-0-1 showing. Her weekend included four stolen bases, an on-base percentage of .455, and a batting average of .400. Allen also gave her team a solid effort at another PGF event—Belt Wars. She put together a .500 batting average and an on-base percentage of .583. Allen throws with her right hand, but is a southpaw when she steps up to the plate.

Living in the backyard of one of the nation's premier travel programs can certainly be motivation to up one's game. Hali Mae Fenstemaker's Beverly Bandits Premier 2031 Mouser team recently took part in the USSSA Kentucky State Championship, and was consistently driving in runs—and getting hit by pitches. This included when she plated three with three hits and a stolen base in an 8-0 shutout of Louisville Elite Softball 14U. Fenstemaker's travel season has also included winning a co-championship (with another Bandits squad) at the PGF Spring Showdown, as well as a championship at the Power 80 back in March. She is a multi-sport athlete, who also competes in shot put and discus throw, in addition to her growing list of softball accolades.

There are plenty of players from the class of 2031 who are not fazed by the increasingly brighter lights they encounter on the softball field as they get older.
