About Sara

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a Sophomore softball player for powerhose school Doral Academy in Doral Florida. I am very athletic, and a versatile inflieder/utility player with a strong bat and agressive base running. I play multiple positions which include 3B, SS, 2B, OF. I have speed which I contribute to be effective both on the bases and in the field. I performe well in competitive high-pressure environment.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I can decribe myself as being driven, focused and have the belief of development through hard work and dedication. I am open mided and can control many situations without negative reactions. I enjoy being a postive team player.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in my schoool Key Club organizations which is made of students who actively give back to our school, homes, and community.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Communication is one I beleive is the best skill to have with your players in order to acheive the best outcome dusring a game. Also, being a team-player is key.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I have faced being in a slump and I learned to overcome it. I learned there are several factors that must be met in order to overcome it such as confidence, mental reset, stop worrying about getting a hit and focus more on making solid contact. I learned alot of people trying to help me but I had to give myself a reset in order to overcome it.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking into NCAA Division I programs at the highest level of competion. Academically I am not sure of my career path so I am open to any type of programs or location offered at any Division I schools.
