About Ava

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as quick athleticism and next level instincts!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is I have to earn everything on and off the field. I like to remind myself that every inning is earned when I'm in the cage, gym, or at practice! My personality is very calm and funny sometimes. I like to relax at home but if I'm with my friends I am usually the one making them laugh a lot.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I played for Texas Glory and earned recognition from Alliance a few times, they added me to some tournaments all tourney teams for my good batting average and fielding percentage. I was also #1 for hitting in my grad class under Alliance too. Non award sports I've earned are A and B honor roll, music progression, and honorable character.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Skills and qualities I have developed are leadership, being a great teammate, and also accountability. For community service I have helped during college games like at the concession stands.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I faced a lot of adversity in softball, sometimes other kids judge how much I train and how I am during practices. They are off and on with how they are as friends to me but I have learned for a while now that it's okay for people to not understand why I love softball so much and why I want to make it to Harvard or Texas to play and that I shouldnt let those things distract me.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a D1 school that can help me on and off the field as a person.
