2032 Defenders With The Tools To Stand Out This Fall

The class of 2032 continues to bring fresh energy to the game. As defenders, these seventh graders are already earning respect with their versatility, athleticism, and ability to make an impact across the diamond.   From speedy outfielders and dynamic middle infielders to pitchers continuing to develop their skill sets, this class is filled with athletes who bring something different to the field. Their ability to contribute in various ways makes the class of 2032 one to watch this fall.   Below, Prep Softball takes a look at defenders in the class of 2032 who are set to stand out this fall and are equipped with the tools to do so.    Northern California native and sister to Arizona commit [player_tooltip player_id='181767' first='Taylor' last='Sansaver'], [player_tooltip player_id='193220' first='Riley' last='Sansaver'] is equipped for success. The younger Sansaver stands out on both sides of the ball with her raw athleticism. With her competitiveness and desire to continue enhancing her skill set, the infielder is set to make a name for herself. Sansaver already possesses a high softball IQ, which sets her apart defensively. Her smooth movements and natural mechanics make plays look routine, while her mature swing adds another dimension to her offense.     [player_tooltip player_id='193245' first='Davina' last='Gloria'], a catcher and utility player for Sorcerer Farris 12U, has begun to make a name for herself with her presence at the plate. Gloria can already launch the long ball and uses her speed on the base paths to stretch extra-base hits even further. On the flip side of the ball, Gloria can be expected to consistently make plays look smooth and routine, with the quickness to get there. Behind the plate, her athleticism and quickness allow her to make plays that keep opponents on their toes.     Firecrackers Moreno 2014 pitcher and utility player [player_tooltip player_id='193246' first='Madelyn' last='Liang'] is already making a name for herself with her versatility on the field. Liang makes an impact in multiple areas of the game, whether it's making plays off the wall, striking out opponents in the circle, or using her athleticism to get outs around the diamond. Her ability to contribute wherever she is needed makes her a valuable presence on the field. Liang brings a unique energy to the diamond and continues to develop into a talented, well-rounded player. Offensively, the slapper has a strong understanding of her approach and control over her swing, adding another dimension to her game.     Multi-sport athlete [player_tooltip player_id='193236' first='Rylie' last='Beratlis'] stands out for her competitive nature and toughness. The 12-year-old catcher is a weapon behind the plate, with a combination of field awareness and a cannon that constantly makes runners second-guess themselves. Beratlis' quickness and instincts allow her to make plays behind the plate and keep pressure on opposing runners. Offensively, the righty uses her speed and pop off the bat to stretch extra-base hits, allowing her to repeatedly cross home plate for Corona Angels 12U.     Adding another pitcher to the already powerful 2032 class of athletes is Ja'Lia Gonzales. The middle schooler is full of passion, and it shows on the dirt. Although she is young, Gonzales has already been recognized for her impact on the field. She makes an impact not only physically, but also in a leadership role. In the circle, Gonzales applies pressure with her ability to rack up strikeouts while also keeping the ball on the ground. Her ability to defend a wide area on her own adds another layer to her game and makes her a force in the circle.     The class of 2032 continues to prove its versatility. Adding to its forceful impact is middle infielder [player_tooltip player_id='121675' first='Ava' last='Rose Eskridge']. Known for her speed, explosiveness, and steady movements, the slapper is someone to be feared by defenders. The young athlete is already standing out among her peers. In the infield, Eskridge uses her quick first step, smooth footwork, and natural instincts to cover ground and make plays look routine. With Bombers Academy, she continues to develop, while her offensive ability as a slapper adds another dimension to her game. She has immense control of her swing and a strong understanding of her approach.
