Caylan Arnold Elliott | Prep Softball Scout
Peyton White is a 2030 catcher who continues to separate herself with a combination of athleticism, offensive production, and defensive presence behind the plate. A multi-sport athlete who also competes in track, she brings speed, agility, and body control to the field that translate directly to her ability to block, recover, and control the game defensively. White is committed to her development, consistently working through private lessons and strength and agility training to sharpen every part of her skill set. At the plate, White has proven she can produce against elite competition. At PGF March Madness, she posted a .412 batting average with a .706 slugging percentage, launching a home run and driving in 10 runs. Her ability to deliver in high-level environments shows both confidence and maturity in her approach. Peyton continues to test herself against top competition and responds with high performance, making her a catcher who not only manages the game behind the plate, but also changes it with her bat.

Peyton White is in the midst of an outstanding fall season, batting .500 at the Champions Elite Showcase in early November and .438 at the Ray Seymour Invitational in late October. With an open stance and her feet spread wide apart, White gets her power from her lower body, as she hit two homers — both to dead center field — in her final junior varsity game as an eighth grader. The ball explodes off of White’s bat, and she turned heads by hitting .500 with a home run at the 16U level in the Atlanta Legacy Showcase over the summer. White has no trouble catching up to well-located fastballs, and her talents are not confined to the softball field. She earned several medals in discus and shot put last year, and her raw strength is up there with anybody in her class.

in a recent article about prospects already displaying leadership qualities on the field, which is not always common among young players, and that’s why she stands out. White recently concluded her junior varsity season at Carrollton, and as evidenced by the back-to-back home runs she slugged, she finished with a flourish. This past summer, White helped her Athletics Gold Tamborra/Vallery 14U team to a national championship at the 14U Alliance Fastpitch Championship Series in Indiana. The Trojans concluded the 2025 regular season with a 22-4 record, and one can expect Carrollton to be a program to be reckoned with in the 6A ranks as long as White is around.

Her power at the plate is just as notable, with multiple home runs this past summer and a presence that commands attention. She helped lead her team to a 2025 Alliance Tier II National Championship at the 14U level, competing against some of the toughest talent in the country. Off the field, Peyton excels in the classroom, proving she’s just as driven academically as she is athletically. With her work ethic, versatility, and high-level experience, Peyton is destined for great things ahead.
