Zyon Blakney is a 4.0 student from Atlanta, Georgia with some serious upside. Playing an aggressive summer schedule with D1Vision 16U Premier, Blakney has already been tested a ton on the softball field and has proven to be a natural leader in the process. A member of the 2029 class at Carrollton High School, Blakney is an excellent catcher and utility player who gives her teams several options on the diamond, and typically plays one of the corner infield positions when she is not behind the plate. Her competitive summer schedule combined with her stellar work ethic gives Blakney a wonderful opportunity to continue to improve and develop her skill set in the coming months.
