How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a natural leader with sharp instincts behind the plate. A pitch framer and strike stealer with a strong arm and a big bat. When you see me, you think power, quick, smooth, and finesse. My infield skills are just as strong as my catching. I move with smooth footwork, clean glove work, and a powerful arm.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a true field general behind the plate. I carry myself differently on and off the field. Off the field I’m calm, cool, and laid back, but once I step between the lines, I’m locked in and all business. I’m not the loudest person in the room. I let my game speak before my voice ever has to. I move like a sneak attack, quiet presence with a loud impact.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m a member of the Debate Team and actively serve with Loaves and Fishes at my church. I compete in Track & Field as a Shot Put and Discus thrower Ranked Top 50 in GA, and I’ve also been part of my school choir. I speak Spanish, love volunteering in my community, and enjoy traveling to experience different countries and cultures.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong composure in high pressure situations. I stay calm when the moment gets tense and help keep my teammates grounded. I don’t react off emotion. I channel what I feel and use it to fuel my performance. I’m a very level headed player and don’t let the game overwhelm me, whether it’s going good or bad. I stay steady and play with confidence and assurance.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve faced a lot of adversity throughout my journey in this sport, but it has helped me understand my worth and the value I bring to the game. It taught me not to feel sorry for myself, but to fight for my future. I stay focused, trust the process, and stay the course.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a competitive college that will nurture my game and support my continued development so I can compete at the highest level. I want a program that challenges me mentally and physically, values camaraderie and teamwork, and lives by an iron sharpens iron mentality.
