2032 Pitchers Showing Plenty Of Promise This Fall

As the 2026 fall softball schedule continues for many teams, a common theme is the stellar work they are getting from their arms in the circle.    Below, Prep Softball highlights five standout pitchers from the high school graduating class of 2032 who are showing plenty of promise this fall. The most recent tournament Lennon Monarch took part in was the PGF Super Select Southern Fall invite, where she helped her Lady Dukes National 2032 Chandler/Lamar squad finish as the runners-up. Prior to that, she took part in the D1 Bat Wars tournament in Columbus. Her team went 3-2, including a 21-1 rout of Finesse 2015 11U, where Monarch tossed three innings of no-hit ball. Monarch also balances her travel schedule with school ball for Bowling Green Junior High. In mid-September, her team earned a 4-3 win over Monroe County, and she gave the squad a chance to win over five innings, allowing four hits and three walks, but only two earned runs, and striking out six batters.      Parker Couger is a left-handed pitcher from the softball-savvy state of Oklahoma. She also plays first base. Couger recently completed her seventh-grade softball season with Mustang North, where the Broncos finished with a 14-7 record. The team's final victory was a 6-0 win over Mustang Central, where Couger pitched four innings of no-hit ball and struck out nine. Another of Couger's noteworthy performances occurred when she helped her Broncos to a 5-2 victory over Yukon. She pitched a complete-game two-hitter while allowing only one earned run and eight strikeouts. Couger struck out a total of 108 batters for the season.      The Phenix Gold 31/32 Corbitt/Imhoff team that Mya Petersen played on previously operated as Arkansas Prospects 30/31 Imhoff. The most recent tournament she and her team took part in was the Diamond 13U State Invitational. One of the team's victories was a nail-biter against Houston Angels 2031 Gold 14U. Petersen's team prevailed by a final score of 5-4 because of Petersen's heroics in the circle. She pitched five innings and allowed only two walks and one earned run while striking out six. Petersen also went three innings while allowing three earned runs and striking out five in a 9-5 victory over Aftershock during pool play of the Black Label Invitational. Lexi Foulk already has USSSA All-American and USA Softball All-American invites on her resume. At the IMG Alliance Qualifier, one of Indiana Magic Gold 2031 Coons' victories occurred against Charge Fastpitch 2030/31 13U. Foulk lifted her team to a 9-4 victory by pitching four innings of relief while allowing only two hits, three earned runs, and five walks while striking out four. Prior to that, Foulk took part in the Hoosier Fall Brawl. Indiana Magic Gold 2031 Coons earned three victories, including a 6-2 decision against Finesse 14U Morris, where Foulk pitched a complete-game two-hitter while allowing only one earned run and one walk to five strikeouts.      Speaking of prospects within the Indiana Magic Gold organization, that distinction also applies to Ali Shirk. In addition to her work in the circle, she also plays first base. Her Indiana Magic Gold 2032 Futures Kruse team took part in the IMG Alliance Qualifier. Shirk threw 17 innings and struck out 26 batters. She fanned eight in an 8-2 victory over Ohio Lasers 2032 Nichols 12U, where she pitched six innings and only allowed three hits, two earned runs, and five walks. Shirk also struck out nine in three innings and two-thirds while allowing only one hit and three walks in a 5-5 tie with Wisconsin Lightning 2032 12U Auseth.
