Peyton O'Neal has already helped Dutchtown eclipse its win total from last year, as the Bulldogs stand at 14-6 as of this writing. The freshman is leading her team in a number of categories, including batting average (.659), on-base percentage (.750), home runs (four), stolen bases (33), runs scored (37), and slugging percentage (1.366). Dutchtown also only trails undefeated Eastside—last season's 4A state champion—in its region. The Bulldogs missed the playoffs last year, but O'Neal's heroics have Dutchtown poised to potentially make a deep tournament run this month.

Emma Wilson has maintained a busy athletic schedule throughout her career, as she also participates in basketball, track and field, and volleyball. Her Gering team has been one of the winningest programs in Nebraska and is 16-8 this season. Her .443 batting average, 12 home runs, 39 runs scored, and 1.098 slugging percentage have all contributed to another successful season for the Bulldogs. Back in July, we spotlighted Wilson as a 2030 whose stock was on the rise during the summer club softball slate. She also has her team's lead in batting average at .594, in addition to her on-base percentage of .649. Kubat's solid freshman season has also included 30 RBIs, 12 doubles, four triples, and a slugging percentage of 1.188, in addition to a .953 fielding percentage. One of Kubat's latest highlights occurred in a matchup with Rocky Mountain. The Sabercats defeated the Lobos by a final score of 5-1, and Kubat contributed to that winning effort with a double and an RBI.

Harm Hill, a talented right-handed pitcher out of Virginia, recently began her fall schedule with IYG Dabney 16U at the USA Super Select in Richmond. In addition to Hill taking the circle, she can also operate defensively at third base. Hill is currently the only 2030 that is on the IYG Dabney 16U roster. This past weekend, Hill tossed two innings of relief while striking out five batters to help her team to a 9-1 victory over Southern Stealth 16U Dent. Prior to that, Hill took part in a couple of team camps at Virginia and Randolph-Macon. She had a stretch where she threw seven innings and only allowed three walks to 15 strikeouts during those camps. Hill also boasts a personal-best pitch speed of 64 mph.

Rya Hakes is another player who maintains an active athletic schedule between her accomplishments on the softball diamond and the basketball court. The right-hander from downstate Illinois can also play the middle infield and the outfield defensively and boasts a 62 mph fastball. Hakes helped her team to a second-place finish at the Triple Crown Super 72 last month. She is looking to build on a summer where she struck out 166 batters and finished with a 2.44 ERA. Up next for Hakes and her team is the Let's Play 4U Fall Kick-Off Showcase in Peoria this upcoming weekend.

Lisa Kucera is a name on the rise out of Texas that is set to wear Vista Ridge Ranger red when 2027 arrives. She is playing for PowerHouse 14U Woods for her fall softball schedule. At the NCS Fastpitch Back In The Game tournament in the Austin area, Kucera helped her team to a 5-2-1 showing. Kucera pitched 10 and two-thirds innings and struck out 10 batters. She has also had the chance to get a glimpse of what school ball is like with Fall League games against Leander, Liberty Hill, and Weiss. Recently, PowerHouse 14U Woods took part in its Octoberfest tournament. The team went 2-2, including a 4-3 win over American Freedom CTX 14U, in which Kucera pitched a complete game. She only allowed one earned run and three walks while striking out six hitters.

October is somewhat underrated as a huge month in the softball realm. In addition to continuing the travel schedule, state championships will also take place in states where the sport is played in the fall, such as Colorado, Nebraska, and Georgia.
