Across the country, 2030 prospects are making names for themselves with standout performances against top competition. These young standouts continue to impress against elite competition, making a strong case as some of the most exciting players in their class.

Below, Prep Softball highlights five prospects from the 2030 class who are excelling on the field this summer.

Layla Werner continues to prove she can compete against high-level talent every time she steps in the circle. She helped lead TCS Fastpitch 14U to a championship at the P5 Patriot Games and a runner-up finish in the Colorado National Power Pool while posting 12 strikeouts across 13 innings with a .264 batting average against. One of her most impressive performances came at the TFL Fastpitch Championship, where she took on an 18U lineup and struck out five hitters in just two innings. Her ability to attack older, more experienced competition with confidence speaks volumes about her poise and potential. Werner is showing that she has the mentality and stuff to continue climbing as one of the promising arms in the 2030 class.

Kambree Perry continues to show why versatility is one of her biggest strengths. Whether she is behind the plate or moving around the infield and outfield, she consistently finds ways to impact the game. At Scenic City, she hit .333 with a .455 on-base percentage while catching 13 innings and also seeing time at third base, shortstop, second base, and in left field. She followed that up with another strong performance at the Circle City Showcase, batting .400 with a .455 on-base percentage and an .833 OPS. Perry once again showcased her defensive flexibility by playing catcher, shortstop, third base, second base, left field, and right field, including turning a smooth double play from shortstop. Her ability to contribute offensively while excelling at multiple premium positions makes her an incredibly valuable player with a bright future.

Emma Wilson had a summer that was impossible to ignore at the plate. Playing up in the TCS Fastpitch Patriot Games 18U division, she wasted no time proving she belonged by launching two home runs against older competition. She carried that momentum into the Boulder IDT with Power Softball Hannigan, where she put together a remarkable offensive performance, going 11-for-24 with seven home runs and 15 RBIs. Wilson's combination of power and production against high-level pitching has made her one of the hottest hitters in the 2030 class this summer, and her stock continues to rise with every tournament she plays in.

Emersyn Haney put together one of the most complete performances of the summer at the Atlanta Legacy tournament, helping lead her team to a 9-1 record and a Final Four finish. At the plate, she was a consistent force, hitting .714 with a .769 on-base percentage, collecting 15 hits, driving in 11 runs, scoring nine times, drawing three walks, and not striking out once during the tournament. Defensively, Haney showcased her athleticism and versatility by splitting time between third base and center field, recording nine putouts, two assists, two double plays, and a perfect fielding percentage in 11 chances. Her ability to impact the game in every way makes her one of the most well-rounded rising talents in the 2030 class.

Gabriyella Kessler continues to establish herself as one of the premier two-way players in the 2030 class. Across the P5 Patriot Games and Colorado Sparkler, she was dominant at the plate, hitting .490 with a 1.557 OPS, collecting 25 hits, six doubles, one triple, six home runs, and 22 RBIs in 17 games. She was just as impressive in the circle during the Sparkler, posting a 2-0 record with three saves in 21 innings. Kessler finished with a 1.00 ERA, struck out 25 hitters, allowed just three earned runs, issued only five walks, and did not surrender a single home run. Her ability to take over games both offensively and as a pitcher makes her one of the most dynamic and impactful prospects to watch moving forward.

Across the country, 2030 prospects are making names for themselves with standout performances against top competition. These young standouts continue to impress against elite competition, making a strong case as some of the most exciting players in their class.
