2031 Names Who Could Break Through This Fall

Several members of the 2031 class have the potential to put together breakout club softball seasons over the next several weeks and months of the fall campaign.   Below, Prep Softball examines five names from the class who could break through this fall.    Samantha Zarcufsky can be placed in a team's defensive lineup either as a catcher, first baseman, or third baseman, and already has a USA Softball All-American selection from last year on her résumé. She previously wore the Warriors Fastpitch 14U uniform and will take the field with her new team—Explosion Kim Nation 2030—beginning next month at the PGF Futures Ultimate Challenge. Her previous team began the PGF National Championships in late July in emphatic fashion with a 15-0 victory over Watson Wolfpack Adams 14U. In that contest, Zarcufsky scored three runs, delivered two doubles, drove in a run, and drew a walk. She also had a pair of home runs during that event.     Last month, Leighton Huber's talents were on display at the USA Softball All-American Games at the hallowed grounds of Devon Park in Oklahoma City. She represented the Region 5 Stripes in the 12U division. In June, Huber reached a new throwing velocity of 60 miles per hour. Huber helped her Hustle Nation Ramon 2031 team finish in the top 10 of the PGF Summer Championship in College Station. A highlight of her summer occurred when she hit her first home run in a scrimmage against Hustle STX Aguado 16U. Huber's team won by a final score of 15-8 in that mid-July contest.     Eva Srouji can play first base defensively but is primarily a left-handed pitcher. During the spring and summer, she played in the 12U division but is transitioning to 14U. The Brentwood Bolts team she played for during the spring and summer recently became Impact Caymol Warpool. She was a seventh-grader this past season for a Woodland MS team that finished the 2026 season with a 15-2 record. A highlight of Srouji's summer occurred at the USSSA Tennessee State Championship when her team earned an 8-2 victory over GA Lady Jackets Gold 12U. Srouji tossed four innings and allowed only one hit while striking out seven opposing batters. At the time, Browning wore the Indiana Magic Gold Futures 2031 Esposito uniform and is now playing for Beverly Bandits 14U Estep on the club circuit. Recently, her team claimed a PGF Fall Super Select championship in Indianapolis. Browning hit .571 over the weekend and was 3-for-3 in the championship game with a pair of RBIs. That final contest was a 5-4 victory over TN Mojo 2031 Heyman, and Browning was hitting ninth in the Beverly Bandits 14U Estep batting order.     While Teagan Belcher is building a noteworthy profile as a pitcher, she can also give a team productivity on defense as a utility player. Belcher is another player who has a USSSA All-American selection on her list of achievements. Her summer included helping her Strykers Mata 2031 team win a 12U USFA Texas State Championship in May. One of those matchups at that invite would result in Belcher being part of a no-hit performance. Belcher has also had the opportunity to play up in 14U competition.
