<p>Northern California is booming with past and present softball talent. Since its establishment in 2005, All American Sports Academy has fostered many of these athletes. AASA has strived to develop its student-athletes through elite competition, quality coaching and training, and mentorship, providing its players with opportunities to compete and succeed at the highest levels of softball and beyond.</p>

<p>Since AASA's establishment 21 years ago by Debbie Nelson, All American alumnae have competed on some of the largest stages across the country, with over 250 student-athletes competing at the collegiate level and alumnae representing Team USA, including players such as Ali Aguilar and Bubba Nickles.</p>

<p>Today, All American Sports Academy continues to empower and provide opportunities for softball players through its strong female leadership. AASA Teams President Shannon Mortimer has helped guide the program's Gold teams to national-level success, including a top-20 finish at PGF Nationals. Alongside Mortimer is Gold Director Rachel Cid, a former AASA athlete who went on to compete at both the University of Oregon and UCLA.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Sydney Saben had a standout season in her first year as a Matador. Earning First-Team All-League honors for Miramonte High School, Saben batted .560, collecting 42 hits, 6 doubles, 3 triples, and one home run. A threat on the basepaths with her speed, she had 16 stolen bases and scored 38 runs for the Matadors.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">The Miramonte Matadors benefited greatly from another new bat in the lineup, who also earned First-Team All-League honors. Sammy Hardy, a left-handed hitter, drove in 30 runs and touched the plate 31 times herself, posting a .487 batting average with 38 base hits this year. Hardy is a dual-offensive threat, combining speed on the bases with power at the plate, as she recorded 8 stolen bases and 3 home runs.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Peyton Rohe came out strong in the circle during her rookie season with Livermore High School. The Cowboys placed first in the highly-competitive East Bay League and the Division II North Coast Section. Throughout the season, Rohe averaged more than one strikeout per inning pitched. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Another league champ for the AASA Program, infielder and pitcher Katie Barber played a key role in the Panthers' success this year. The All-League recipient posted a .422 batting average with 27 hits and 24 runs scored. Barber also excelled defensively, recording a .964 fielding percentage.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">A consistent contributor on both sides of the ball, Gabrielle Cooper played a key role in the Gaels' success this season. Offensively, Cooper posted a .355 batting average with 22 hits and 15 runs scored. Defensively, she contributed to the Gaels' success this year with 17 putouts.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">The Foothill Falcons relied on freshman Genevieve Duncalf's consistency this season. While at the plate, she had 23 hits, 13 runs scored, and double-digit extra-base hits, earning a .315 batting average. Defensively, Duncalf posted a fielding percentage of over .900 with stats in the double digits in the category of putouts. Ultimately, she assisted the Falcons in their solid North Coast Section playoff run, which included three postseason wins.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">A pitcher and center fielder for the Falcons, Alana Berry, was a standout performer for Christian Brothers this season. Berry posted a .364 batting average, with 17 of her 24 hits being extra-base hits. Berry drove in 29 runs and scored another 22 of her own. In the circle, she finished the campaign with the lowest ERA on her team.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">The Freedom Falcons benefited greatly from their freshman third baseman and catcher this season. With double-digit hits, runs scored, and 45 putouts, Addison Turnage helped the team to its postseason run and third-place Bay Valley league finish.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">A North Coast Section Division II champion, Clementine Wyse was a key contributor to the Broncos' success this year, recording 17 hits and scoring 14 runs. The freshman helped Northgate bring the blue banner back to Walnut Creek, batting .500 in the championship game and driving in one of the team's two runs scored.</p>

In 67 at-bats, she produced a .403 batting average with 27 hits, 21 runs scored, 3 home runs, and 18 RBIs. She recorded double-digit extra-base hits, showcasing her power at the plate.</p>
