2029s Who Set The Tone From First Pitch To Final Out

Some softball players have a knack for making things happen on the field from the first pitch of a game until its final out. Below, Prep Softball highlights five prospects from the high school graduating class of 2029 who do just that. Avery Patrick often sets the tone for her team from the very first pitch of the game. The middle infielder brings a level of confidence and athleticism to the field that allows her to consistently make big-time plays and come through for her squad at the plate as well. Playing high school ball for Newcastle High School and travel ball for OK Athletics Ones National Madden, Patrick competes against top competition, which helps her to level up her skills and continue to develop into the type of recruit who college coaches follow. Bentley Schiller, a 2029 recruit from Colorado who plays school ball for Montrose High School and club ball for CO Firecrackers 2k10, is the type of player who can impact the game in multiple ways for her squads. The right-handed pitcher and utility player brings an advanced skill set to the diamond that allows her to stand out as a dependable player and leader among her teammates. Her ability to do just about everything on the field makes her a valuable prospect who college coaches will want to keep a close eye on. Tanner Link is both an outstanding player and student at Hanahan High School in the 2029 class. Link, who plays on the travel circuit for TN Mojo Griebe, carries a 4.8 GPA and is a multi-sport athlete. Her level of play in both the outfield and at second base speaks volumes about her athleticism and tendency to make things happen for her teams on the softball field. She is undoubtedly a student-athlete to watch in her class in the coming months and years ahead. Another incredibly impressive student-athlete who does big things both on the field and in the classroom is Zoey Blair from Tennessee. Blair, who attends West Ridge High School and plays club ball for Freedom Fastpitch X, is a right-handed pitcher and utility player who boasts a 4.375 GPA. She can stay composed in pressure situations and adapt to whatever role her coaches ask her to step into, making her someone you want with the ball in her hand or at the plate with the game on the line. We expect that Blair's work ethic will help her continue to improve. A 4.0 student-athlete at Lakeside High School in Georgia, Hayden Zimmerman is used to stepping into different roles for her teams whenever she is called upon to do so. Zimmerman, who competes in travel ball for Complete Game 16U, plays a multitude of positions on the softball field, including pitcher, third base, second base, and first base. A switch-hitter, Zimmerman throws and pitches with her right hand, but can bat from the left side if she is told to. She attended camp at Georgia Southern back in January, and is gearing up for a big summer of softball ahead.
