Five Uncommitted 2027s Impressing This High School Season

Despite many of the country's top 2027 players committing ahead of their junior season, there is still plenty of talent yet to commit. In a loaded class, some of the best offensive players have not yet determined their college homes, and they present the opportunity for coaches to continue to build their rosters looking forward.   Below, Prep Softball highlights five uncommitted 2027 hitters who are impressing onlookers during this high school season.    After a lights-out campaign during her fall season with Athletics Gold Tamborra, [player_tooltip player_id='107207' first='Avery' last='Madden'] has started strong with Oviedo High School in Florida. In her first eight games, Madden is hitting .519 with seven runs scored and seven batted in. Her performance so far includes a home run in a close win over Lyman. During her fall campaign, Madden hit .556 with Athletics Gold Tamborra and slugged .852 over the season. The strong hitter is uncommitted, but college coaches should have an eye on Madden as they continue to assemble their 2027 recruiting classes.     Although the California high school season is just underway, [player_tooltip player_id='107212' first='Bella' last='Cooper'] is a name to watch for Manteca High School. Across the first four games of her high school season, Cooper is hitting .545 with three runs scored, which marks a substantial improvement from a sophomore campaign during which she hit .316. Cooper has also stolen four bases already, and is on pace for one swiped bag a game. Cooper was named to the PGF All-American Watchlist for her outstanding play during the club season with Sorcerer Gabales/Rodriguez.     [player_tooltip player_id='107221' first='Keelyn' last='Constancio'] has been strong at the plate as she begins her junior high school season. Now 10 games into her season with Clinton, Constantino is hitting .400 with nine runs and nine RBI. Her two doubles to date already beat last year's total of one. Constancio's best game came in a 5-1 win over Union, during which she hit a double and a triple, scoring once and driving a run in. She has also stolen three bases. Constancio's high school season comes after a strong club campaign, including hitting .818 with three RBI when playing with Fury Platinum's 18U squad for a weekend in November. Constancio visited Ole Miss and Notre Dame in January for camps as she continues her recruiting process.     [player_tooltip player_id='107368' first='Amaya' last='Sigala'] hit a home run in her first at-bat of the high school season, and it has been all uphill for the 2027 prospect since then. In her first six games played for Oak Hills this year, Sigala is hitting .529, scoring 10 runs and driving seven in. She has already gone for a pair of three-hit games, including reaching base in all five plate appearances in a win over Summit. Her high school performance carries over from her club season with Beverly Bandits, with whom she excelled at the plate. Sigala is a name to watch as the year continues to play out.     [player_tooltip player_id='107190' first='Rylie' last='Morris'] has started her high school season well as she moves through her junior year. Through her first eight games for Lake Brantley, Morris is hitting .515 with 11 runs scored and seven RBI. She has also given the Patriots two doubles, two triples, and seven stolen bases on the young season. She represents Tampa Mustangs for club ball, whom she helped advance to the Alliance Fastpitch Championship Series. Morris attended a camp at North Florida in January and will likely continue to turn heads as her high school season unfolds.
