That accomplishment came after the Albuquerque native smashed two home runs in one weekend at a tournament in September. Overall, the Suncats went 17-7 this fall, including an 8-2 record in their final 10 games. Earlier in the year, Jaramillo hit a grand slam at a tournament in June, and helped her team go undefeated at the USSSA Bats, Balls & Bling Fastpitch Tournament in March. She brings a competitive spirit to the game, and can lift a team up both in the circle and with the bat.

Itzel Loya has an earned reputation of being a valuable player for a team. On two separate occasions, she was named tournament MVP—the first time at the USSSA Labor Day Invitational in September of 2024, and at the Howling Halloween Fastpitch Tournament the following month. She helped her team throughout the season with first-place finishes at Bring on the Bats in April, Dazzling Diamond in August, and Gobble Till You Wobble in November. Similar to her teammate Jaramillo, she is a dedicated athlete and a versatile asset.

Hailing from the village of Pecos, about a half-hour east of Santa Fe, Arlanni Gabaldon came through in the clutch for her Suncats teammates this season. At the Pink It Out tournament in October, she threw 10 innings in the circle, with five strikeouts and a solid 3.86 ERA. With the bat, she was arguably even more impressive, smashing two doubles and finishing the weekend with a .375 batting average. Her performance on the field helped the Suncats bring home the title and a 5-1 record. In the championship game, she played an integral role in the Suncats overcoming an 8-2 deficit on the way to a 10-9 victory. Having the ability to assist your team in all facets of the game is a good gift to have.

It didn't take long for Amerie Portillo to deliver for her team in a big way. In April, at a game in Dallas, Texas, she was dominant in the circle with 11 strikeouts for the Suncats. However, her biggest contribution may have come with the bat. With runners on second and third, she knocked the game-winning hit that scored two runs for her team. She followed that performance up in June at The Rumble in the Desert with another strong performance in the circle and a grand slam at the plate for good measure. In the fall, she was named the Rocky Mountain Fastpitch League Player of the Month for October. She pitched 7.1 innings with 10 strikeouts and a 2.86 ERA. She can carry a team by racking up the strikeouts or by coming through in the clutch at the plate.

At the Alliance Fastpitch Championship Series in September, Riley Michel's bat was scorching. She placed second overall among all players in average hits per game (1.40), third in OPS (1.292), and second in batting average (.538). She then followed that performance up with a two-run home run at the Pink It Out tournament in October. In addition to her bat, she's also a threat on the bases. In December, she was clocked at 16.9 mph. With a combination of speed and the ability to make contact and get on base, she is a player to watch.
