Top 2029 Prospects To Watch In Rhode Island

<p class="text-gray-700">Alexis St. Germain gave RI Thunder both pop in her bat and consistency in the circle during the fall season. The right-handed pitcher threw 46 innings with a WHIP of 1.25 with good separation between her fastball and off-speed pitches. At the plate, she hit a home run and drove 15 runners across home during the fall season with a .410 on-base percentage. She plays in the infield when she is not pitching and finished the season with a .947 fielding percentage. St. Germain was selected to USA Softball's national selection event as a position player and was an All-American selection in 2024.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Marissa Baptista played on NE Unity's 16U team during the fall season and was a regular in the team's lineup thanks to her skill at the plate. Baptista started October with a 2-for-3 day in a win over RI Thunder, driving two runners in. The next day, she reached base three times to help NE Unity to two wins. She also helped NE Unity at the end of the month with a double and a run scored to break open the game against the Honeygo Hurricanes. Baptista was named a 2025 USA Softball All-American, where she played behind the dish, going 2-for-2 in a game against the Region 3 Stripes.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Erin Moran's bat is making her a top prospect in the 2029 class. Moran started her club season with a 6-for-6 day across three games, during which she drove in nine runs, including hitting a home run against SE Mass Thunder. During the six-game tournament in Connecticut, she hit an outstanding .714 with 14 RBIs and scored five runs, leading Fire N' Ice to a perfect record. Moran played on the Region 1 Stars team as a USA Softball All-American selection for 2025. She will play with LaSalle Academy in the spring, which is one of the top high school programs in the country.</p>

<p>Isabella Marcano is poised to contribute exponentially in 2026 for both her club and school teams. Marcano played an indoor tournament to start January and hit .667 with a 1.483 OPS at the event. During the fall, she was selected to the Powerball Invitational all-tournament team after helping her club squad to a 4-1 record. At the Lightning Fall Classic back in September, she hit .562 with four RBIs and four stolen bases. Marcano attended camps at Bryant, South Florida, and Florida International during the offseason ahead of her first high school campaign with Cranston West. She was selected as a USA Softball All-American in 2024.</p>
